As tomorrow begins the first day of Fall 2011, I'd like to take a moment to savor the end of Summer 2011...

David got some awesome new toys for his first birthday

We got ice cream at a place that sold Maggie Moo with Tripp after work

With dear friends Clair & Kelly and their kiddos, we braved the CTA and went to the field museum

We discovered that the custard shop within walking distance from our apartment is absolutely amazing

David loves the Bobbitt's backyard

Seattle trip to visit the Stephensons was so lovely for all 3 of us

David 'swam' in Lake Michigan 2x thanks to the hot August

David likes riding piggy back shopping at L.L. Bean with Dad

We had an awesome pool party at Mom & Dad's with dear friends!

Wonderful trip to the Chicago Botanical Gardens, though a little chilly : (

So that's that! End of Summer, beginning of Fall here we come! His mercies are new every morning, great is God's faithfulness through all the seasons of life.
