A beautiful day in the neighborhood

Strollin' and swingin'! It's about time the sun came out around here! Took a few minutes this afternoon to explore the parks in our neighborhood. There's one big park adjacent to the middle school that's just steps out our front door. Today there was a great mix of kids and moms with babies to teenagers. Unfortunately, four eight-year-olds thought the other baby swing would make for a great game. So, we ventured on the little park on Marshfield about 2 blocks further. The little park was gorgeous and all ours! David swung and I got to peak in at some of the back porches to the condo's there. Saw a nice older lady that lived right there, made me feel we were right at home.

 

This was David's 2nd time at swinging, thanks to the Lee's little park we visited on Saturday. As the weather gets nicer, I'm looking forward to venturing out for further park exploration. I will definitely be back to the big park soon, hoping to get to know other moms in our area. Got a few smiles today - that's promising!
